Multiplayer Games to kill Quarantine Boredom

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic we all are stuck in our houses, away from any interaction with friends, distant families. Parks, Cinemas, Gyms, Pools and almost everything you could to have wee bit of fun are prohibited to open under lockdown. We have lost total physical connection with the rest of the world and now are confined to our tiny rooms and lounges.

All this is really taking a toll at everyone and leaving people very bored. To counter this and have some fun in this quarantine life one the best thing we all could do is play some games.

Animals Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a 2020 social simulation game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch it is the fifth main entry in the Animal crossing. In New Horizons, the player controls a character who moves to a deserted island after purchasing a getaway package from Tom Nook, accomplishes assigned tasks, and develops the island as they choose. They can gather and craft items, customize the island, and develop it into a community of andromorphic animals.

Call of Duty: Warzone

Warzone is the second main battle royale installment in the Call of Duty franchise, following the "Blackout" mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (2018). Warzone differs from Black Ops 4 by reducing reliance on equipable gadgets and instead encouraging the accumulation of a new in-game currency called Cash. Warzone features two primary game modes: Battle Royale and Plunder, It supports up to 150 players in a single match, which exceeds the typical size of 100 players seen in other battle royale titles. Some limited-time modes support 200 players.

Fall Guys

Up to 60 players compete in matches with battle Royale-style gameplay. Players represented as jellybean-like figures, move around a three-dimensional playing field, with additional moves such as jumping, grabbing/climbing, or diving to assist gameplay. The aim is to qualify for subsequent rounds by successfully completing each of the randomly selected mini-games. Certain mini-games involve running towards a finish line at the end of the map, playing tag with other players, while others add elements of teamwork. On every mini-game, obstacles appear around the map for added complexity. Players who are too slow, who fall into pink slime, or who fail certain requirements for a mini-game, are eliminated. On the final round, the remaining few players compete in a final match with a randomized mini-game designed for a smaller player size. The winner of the match is the last player.

VALORANT

Valorant is a team-based first person shooter set in the near future. Players play as one of a set of Agents, characters designed based on several countries and cultures around the world. In the main game mode, players are assigned to either the attacking or defending team with each team having five players on it. Agents have unique abilities, each requiring charges, as well as a unique ultimate ability that requires charging through kills, deaths, orbs, or objectives. Every player starts each round with a "classic" pistol and one or more "signature ability" charges.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a co-op multiplayer mode for Ghost of Tsushima that was released on October 16, 2020. It is a cooperative mode in which players are able to choose from four available classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin. Legends is separate from the single-player campaign of Ghost of Tsushima though certain items in Legends are unlocked through progression in Jin's Journey.
