ON THE LEFT: ATARI'S Co founder Ted Dabney passes away on May 26th 2018.
One of the most influential figure of gaming industry the pioneer of today's 138 billion $ company Atari dies at age 81 due to esophageal cancer.
CAREER:
They developed Computer space one of the most renowned gaming platform of that era after that accompanying with Nolan Bushnell both founded Atari with the help of developer Al Alcron as they developed the Master piece Legendary game PONG.Ted is regarded as the founding father of Arcade games. He was born in San Francisco, California, in 1937, and was very eager to learn about technology due to his keen interest he studied electronics in the U.S. Marine Corps. He became an engineer and was hired at Hewlett-Packard. Dabney left to join Ampex in 1961 and start working on military products. At Ampex, he met Bushnell, and they both left to start their own Game/tech company called Syzygy in 1971.

Dabney went on to work with Bushnell on Pizza Time Theater (the predecessor of Chuck E. Cheese’s), Catalyst Technologies, Syzygy Game Company, and Teledyne. Over some management issues he left the company and started a grocery store in US, and so as today the world lost another gem of gaming Industry.
